    • Healthy Lifestyles Coordinator
      • Nov 2014 - Apr 2015

This was a 1 year funded position and I worked out of Farringdon Community Academy. It was my responsibility to develop the Change4Life program in 16 Primary Schools in West Sunderland. With this, I aimed to link in with Adult Learning and other organisations to develop strong links with families and to encourage them to develop healthier lifestyles.Change4Life is a program that focuses on inactive children and lead programs in school to encourage and motivate them. The children are identified by the school for reasons such as motivation, engagement, pupil premium, self-confidence, absence, overweight/obese and family life. These programs are fun based that encourage physical activity linked to sports skills that can be developed over time. My aims were to have at least one of these clubs in every school and make an impact on the whole school towards living healthier lifestyles, which I did.
