      My experience in IDOM provides me a strong insight of the environmental decision-making process. I have collaborated in applications to tenders and diverse environmental projects such as Strategic Environmental Studies for Master Plans or the preliminary design of mitigation measures to reduce human impact in the form of NbS. Thanks to the international nature of the company, I have also been able to meet people all around the world, especially from LATAM and Saudi Arabia. These people include clients during workshops in order to help them taken sustainable decision. Additionally, I have been involved in internal projects for the digitalisation of the environmental impact assessment in order to increase its public support and audience. In fact, public engagement is particularly relevant to me and I always try to include their ideas, opinions and well-being in my work. Show less

      Ikasiker collaboration scholarships are given to those university students who certify good academic records and wish to collaborate in teaching or research centers on a basis of compatibility with their studies, thus initiating research tasks directly linked to their studies. I collaborated with the Flora and Vegetation group of the UPV/EHU. There, I participated in the preparation of the data obtained in vegetation samplings of the years 2019 and 2020 for use in various projects of the group. Among those tasks I performed, I calculated the species richness by using Excel commands. These data have been included in the databases at the autonomous, regional, and global level: BIOVEG, the European Vegetation Archive (EVA), sPLOT, and GrassPlot. The digitized data have also been used in the DarkDivNet project, a global network that aims to explore the hidden diversity of plant communities. Show less
