      As a curriculum Leader at Xiscad Training I am responsible for the curriculum being taught and the monitoring of programs. I assist in the general running of programs from the recruitment and paperwork to the eventual completion including functional skills. This also includes managing the tutors and assessors and tracking apprentice progress through programs and managing the reviews and contact logs for each apprentice as well as apprentice employer engagement.       Whilst working for Baltic Training Services I first started as a floating tutor who would go to the classes that were not being taught due to the absence of the tutor. Very quickly I was given my own class at Gateshead College where I was delivering the City and Guilds framework to the group in between this is I was also teaching at the Sunderland Cohort. During my time here I created resources and assisted in marking students work. I also introduced a new way for marking using electronic comments in the students work. Show less

      My main duties were to create, deliver and mark curriculum, I assisted with the ECDL delivery as well as taking over the personal tutor role for a period of time. I was responsible for the display boards during my time at the College as well as successfully gaining 100% completion for the groups I took over midway through the year.       Whilst at Newcastle Building Society I was responsible for testing new elements of the current system and also testing completely new parts of the system. I was part of the team responsible for moving the older system over to the new ,net framework. I assisted in successfully testing a new part of the mortgage system. This was however a short lived employment as I gained a place on the Sunderland University ICT PGCE course which I applied for before taking employment with Newcastle Building Society. Show less

      Whilst working for Northern rock I was a system tester/analyst I was responsible for working in a set team to test parts of Northern rock's new online systems including their multi million pound mortgage and online banking system. I carried out cross browsing testing on new systems to take into account new browsers and updated browser features.
