  Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and Organization Development, I am responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of Human Resources functions for a unionized hospital environment inclusive of thirteen hundred staff, two respective unions and an active Board or Directors. My duties include:Managing the directs reports of the Human Resources Operations department (including HR Assistants, Specialists and Project Coordinators).Managing all aspects of Labour Relations across the hospital, inclusive of handling the full cycle grievance process (settlement negotiations via mediation and arbitrations included) and collective bargaining for both unions.Working in conjunction with Hospital legal counsel to provide strategic Labour relations advice to the Hospitals Senior Leadership Team regarding the risks and benefits of various organizational initiatives.Working closely with the hospitals many Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents (across both the clinical and corporate departments) to provide strategic support regarding adherence to the collective agreements and/or any successor legislation.
