  I design and create online lessons to help Canadian newcomers prepare for the IELTS - an international English literacy test used for immigration and post-secondary entrance requirements. Many of my lessons include videos, which I create, shoot and edit. Through the site I give my students writing feedback and advice. I also create and maintain an IELTS newsletter through Mailchimp.   The English at Work program's purpose was to educate and train Manitoba workers (often newcomers to Canada) in English and workplace skills. I was responsible for the initial front-end analysis (to see in what areas instruction was needed), the design and development of a curriculum, and the planning and execution of individual lessons. I taught and trained workers in everything from language skills to safety, technical skills, and job-related soft-skills.
