  Since August 2001, I have been employed by Bridgeway Consulting Limited, a railway civil engineering company. In this time my work has been split between safety critical roles (safety critical competencies up to the level of SPICOP), and engineering roles, eventually becoming the Senior Structural Examiner for the Examinations Department. In July 2019, I joined the Training Department as a Learning & Development Specialist, becoming an NSAR Accredited Assessor for safety critical roles up to SPICOP, as well as technical training and assessment for the Bridge Examinations team, and external clients across the Railway Industry. Since 2015 I have been the principal trainer and assessor within Bridgeway Consulting for all staff within the company requiring bridge examiner training in the STE4, STE5, STE7, BSN and BSE competencies.
