Jon was hired on as our Production Manager and oversaw our aggressive production ramp. Jon was instrumental in migrating our prototype line into a high volume production line. He personally interviewed and gave dexterity tests to over 400 applicants and grew the team from seven skilled assemblers to over 80. He oversaw the creation of numerous SOPs in support of MDD and FDA compliance and successfully guided the Manufacturing group through numerous ISO 13485 and MDD audits. Jon worked with local cleanroom suppliers to negotiate supply contracts and implemented a min/max system for consumables. His efforts ensured that materials were always available to support the aggressive production ramp. Jon was also a champion of Lean manufacturing and worked closely with our Lean Industrial Engineer to implement Lean principles on the production floor and in the warehouse. He excels at getting results and keeping management informed of production floor status and issues. He is an effective leader and is respected by both the production team and by senior management.
