I had an opportunity to work for Jon Crabtree as an Application Engineer, Program Manager and Engineering Manager in SEH-A and Xerox. Jon demonstrated what an effective and excellent manager/director can be. He provided clear vision (short term and long term) for the group, a strategic planner, a good communicator, and encouraged employees to achieve results. As a technical manager, he showed very good understanding of complex technical concepts, a very experienced in troubleshooting, and guided the teams in development and implementation. I learned and enjoyed working for Jon Crabtree, his management style allowed me to excel as a manager.

I worked under Jon as a Tech Support engineer at SEH America for approximately 5 years. Our engineering group had a wide mix of education and work experience. Jon led with a certain confidence and coolness under pressure that I didn't appreciate enough back then. He managed us well. We were successful. SEH-A experienced tremendous growth during that time. Those were very good years. Bob McClement SEH- A TSA Engineer -- mid-1990's
