As an experienced architectural project manager, Jon is responsible for overseeing multiple aspects of assigned architectural projects, including the client, in-house team, and consultants. He collaborates closely with principals, construction managers, and consultants to ensure the successful development of each project. His strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple aspects of a project make him an essential part of the architecture firm's team. One of Jon's responsibilities is to create architectural concept designs for a variety of commercial projects, such as cold storage facilities, warehouses, build-to-suit distribution centers, as well as other building types. He works closely with the design team to execute projects from the initial concept phase through construction documents, including Construction Administration – All Phases. To ensure the highest quality of work, Jon produces high-quality BIM models and drawings using Autodesk Revit and creates realistic renderings using Lumion. Jon also plays a vital role in providing leadership and guidance to less experienced staff members. During his tenure at MPL, Jon proactively designed, managed, and participated in the construction process of a variety of architecture projects, with a combined value of over $80 million. These projects included office buildings, live/work spaces, retail stores, shopping centers, multi-family residential properties, townhomes, churches, kennel boarding facilities, car dealerships, restaurants, and over 50 high-end residences located throughout Georgia, Florida, California, New York, Virginia, and Brazil. Jon played a leading role in overseeing all aspects of construction document production and managing multiple aspects of client relationships, in-house teams, and consultants. He also defined project scopes by interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating project assignments, and was the primary individual contributor and coordinator for design problem-solving. Throughout the course of these projects, Jon conceptualized ideas from sketches to full sets of construction documents, ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining accuracy and cost-effectiveness. He monitored the flow of development activities and rendered exceptional support to resolve complex technical and design issues. Additionally, Jon directed the implementation of BIM Revit in the office and set the overall strategy for producing construction drawings. He also contributed to developing and implementing new ways to improve the quality and speed of architectural work. Tango AIA LEED AP, NCARB, Associate Professor at KSU – School of Architecture, wrote the following recommendation letter: “Jon has been a student of mine in third year design studio and for the final fifth year thesis studio.
