I worked with Jon on a Guidewire PolicyCenter project for a regional P&C insurer in Central Connecticut. Jon is a very talented developer familiar with a variety of technologies. He demonstrated the ability to learn new technologies quickly. One of Jon's key skills is knowing the right questions to ask. He has the ability to analyze a scenario, contextualize it and clearly define the problem. Once the problem is sufficiently defined, he is able to come up with practical solutions. He's familiar with the SDLC and comfortable with Agile SCRUM methodology. He actually works quite well in an agile development environment because he is so amenable to change . . . he does however know when he needs to put a stake in the ground. It's been a real privilege to work with Jon and I would definitely recommend him.

He also has great communication skills and a sense of diplomacy, even when dealing with difficult people. He was equally proficient leading a project as he was being a team member. I also found Jon to be a quick learner and highly adaptive. At the Patrons Group, our IT staff was so small that Jon had to wear many hats. He joined our staff with very little experience and quickly became a leader and subject matter expert in many different technical areas, including desktop support, Windows server maintenance, web development, network infrastructure, business analysis and project management.
