  I joined the RAF in 1980 where I took part in numerous training qualifications to become a highly experienced engineering weapons technician. During my 23 year career, I was based in numerous RAF locations across Europe, mostly within the UK and Germany. I took part in a range of roles including: - maintenance of armament equipment - maintenance of military aircraft - nuclear weapons maintenance - air cadet liaison officer My long career in the RAF has taught me other lifelong skills such as confidence, discipline, good organisational skills and being able to work to a strict time limit.
