BARBARA LAWRENCE

Jo is very professional and has a relaxing easy manner. She made me feel very comfortable when I took part in a P.R. Day for the Women's Organisation earlier this year.

I worked alongside Jo on our engagement team before she moved into business advice. I watched her excel in both roles, and prove that she has amazing adaptability and will do well at whatever she turns her hand to. She had a fantastic warm approach which meant engaging clients to join our programmes came naturally to her. She is a great ideas person with a positive approach to problem solving making her a great business adviser. It has been my privilege to work alongside her and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any person or organisation.

The Baltic Triangle is an historic city central area, which is enjoying a steady renaissance making it one of ‘the’ places to set up shop and hang out. As a non exec director on the board, my role is to represent The Women's Organisation and it's flagship facility, 54 St James Street, in the area whilst working with the other directors as part of the board to contribute to the development of the area in line with the vision manifesto and area business plan. For the past three years I have worked with a collective of people in the area to develop the 'Baltic Schmooze' networking events. These are quarterly events that showcase the developments in the area and offer an opportunity for anyone who wants to come and find out what it's all about in a relaxed and fun setting. Show less
