Joi is an effective manager. She manages the program and delivers on a high level to the students and the funders. Her style is collaborative when needed and she is also a great individual contributor as needed. Joi is a good communicator and she has a big vision for the work assigned to her in the department.

The first word that comes to mind when I think of Joi Turner, is Commitment! I have known Joi for approximately 3-4 years, and during that time she has never wavered from her commitment to serve our youth and the community. Joi and I met during our days working together at the Urban League of Greater Atlanta. It was there that I noticed her professionalism and her intention to serve and inspire youth with the highest amount of character and integrity possible. With Joi at the helm of Urban League youth programs, these programs excelled and exceeded expectations. She was loved by the staff and students alike. To be sure, she was and continues to be a valuable asset to any organization that is seeking to uplift, encourage, and be a change agent in today's world. As an educator, minister, and change agent myself, there is never a hesitation on my part to be a part of Joi's team. She's a #1 draft choice and a game changer! I recommend her without reservation.
