    • LYTEhouse Mentoring Chair and Videographer
      • Jan 2017 - Present

LYTEhouse stands for "Lifting Youth Through Enrichment" and was founded the fall of 2016 in order to prepare incoming freshmen at Morehouse College into a new world of college life. We act as big brothers and big sisters to the incoming freshmen by leading them in the right direction whether it is staying on top of their grades, getting them involved on campus, or checking on their mental states. We also have mentoring initiatives and programs at various schools in the Atlanta area including Thomasville Elementary, Tri Cities High School, and Dunbar Elementary. Our goal is to expand beyond the Atlanta area and establish LYTEhouse in as many cities as possible, especially areas in poverty. Also, we focus heavily on the issues facing the shelterless community in Atlanta. LYTEhouse members have packaged food and toiletries throughout the year to pass out Hurt Park, Peachtree-Pine Shelter, and many other areas within the city. Show less
