I have known John for a number of years through Little League, as we coached together on our sons' baseball team. I have always been impressed with John's calm and steady demeanor and how well he related to the kids, encouraging them and at the same time, pushing them to do their best. My wife and I recently spoke to John about having Bowers do some fairly extensive work for our home. During this proces, I saw John in a very different environment and was quite taken with his thoughtful, deliberate approach to addressing our proposed project. He addressed our concerns about undertaking such a major project, gave us some great ideas about how we could accomplish our goals, and was extremely candid in addressing the costs and difficulties involved. Given my experience with John, as well as having worked with many other professionals, I think that he has superb client relations skills and his ability to synthesize complicated ideas and communicate them effectively would make him a strong business development person. In sum, I believe that John is a talented, forthright, and articulate man, one in whom I have great trust and am pleased to call my friend. I would recommend him without hesitation.

John has business acumen, is detail minded, customer-centric and flexible to handle any project placed under his responsibility. I had the opportunity to work with John in the professional trade association, NARI, the DC chaper. He served in multiple capacities on the Executive Board level including Chairman of the Chapter. John's vision was to promote the association's visiblity to the general public. John created the Remodelors Home Tour for NARI-DC; locally promoted renowned architect and author Sarah Susanka for a single NARI event. These were no small tasks for his year as chairman. His detail to planning, delegation and negotiation with resourceful contacts made these events over-the-top successful. I might add that NARI chapter positions are strictly volunteer and that John performed these tasks while he was Vice President of Operations at Bowers Construction. John will get the job done above par.
