After I come back from Bangladesh, I enter new retailing industry. This is a type of 30-minute home delivery service for all traditional supermarket items. You may understand it is as technology + traditional supermarket. Orginated from Fuzhou city in 2016, PUPU has established around 250 supermarkets in Fuzhou, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan and Chengdu to seamlessly cover the 6 cities. Those supermarkets are not open to customer walking inside, instead customer place orders from its online APP and give payment there, then the delivery team will send the order to customer home at the door within 30 mintues afer the order is placed. In this way, it saves energy and time for customer, at the same time experience the freshness and good price even better than supermarkets. The supermarket place works as offline warehouse. The store manager is responsibility for the operation of the store, including the management of the PSI of the goods items (all supermaket foods, beverages, househeld items, even pet foods), the management of staff (around 100 staffs including store assisstant in different sectors and delivery team, and some are part-time workers), and the maintenance of the supermarket place.
