Bio
Larissa Santoro
John is a great project manager and mentor. He is respected by his colleagues and clients not only for the knowledge, talent and professional experience he possesses, but the way he is able to share and communicate it. As one of the most positive and enthusiastic leaders in our studio, I have learned so much from working with John. As a mentor, he is very trusting and allowed me to learn at my own pace, while helping me understand my difficulties and develop my strengths. It is evident that learning and teaching are equally important for him in the office or on the field, as he encourages discussions, problem solving, and design collaborations. John's dedication to a project is admirable, as he always brings his strong design sense, personality, and management skills to lead a team successfully through deadlines. I highly recommend John as a team leader for any project; he holds all the characteristics a true architect should possess.

Worked on design projects ranging from LG Headquarters to multiple design competitions in South Korea, as well as the US Embassy in Tunis, Tunisia. Closer to home, worked on the Beecher Road School in Woodbridge, CT and the SAND School in Hartford, CT. Expanded responsibilities on projects included New Dormitory Buildings at The Rectory School, Pomfret, CT, The Artists Collective, Hartford, CT, and additions and renovations to West Hartford Elementary School's Webster Hill and Braeburn (yes, the school my daughter would eventually attend).
