I've worked with John on several projects related to the Welsh music industry and promotions both at Welsh Music Foundation and as a freelance phtogorapher. He's always approachable, seems to know EVERYONE, and he's willing to try new things without giving up which is very important in such a constantly changing industry. It's easy to find people who are passionate about music or art generally, John is one of the few people I know who's also passionate about the business that makes it all work and willing to put himself on the line to make it work.
