I have had the pleasure of working with John for over three years. When I first accepted a position with Ashford University, I was under another division. We always heard so much success stemming from John's division, that when I was asked to join, I enthusiastically accepted. From that point on I was in a division that focused on intrinsic reward, dedication to the success of our students and advisors, and all emanating from such motivational leadership. No doubt on why we remained one of the best divisions in Denver. John's leadership ability was the critical component which led our teams to success. John was always supportive of his management teams and employees. Reminding us that accountability inspires motivation and motivation inspire greatness. His style of creating more personal rewards from hard work, dedication to his personnel, and great words of wisdom; encouraged so many of us to be the best and strive for fulfillment. A specific example of his knowledge that still resonates with me is, "You can not want this more than the person you're trying to help." That approach aided me in developing a consultative method when handling our clients/students. Furthermore, assisted me in building accountability for those aspiring to follow their dreams, while motivating me to be the best advisor and leader; I could be. There is no doubt that with John's leadership abilities, he would be a great asset to any company of employ.
