John Cerniglia and I worked together on the World of Hope Campaign at Habitat for Humanity International. John is a passionate and hardworking leader. He is particularly gifted with understanding of the fundamentals of fundraising, and working with metrics to achieve goals. John's many years of working at Habitat for Humanity exposed him to all aspects of the organization, from local work at an Ohio affiliate through shepherding the top leaders and volunteers at the international organization. Because of his depth of experience, he has understanding of individuals at all levels within a complex organization. He is a CFRE who has taught at The Fundraising School of Indiana University. With his determination and attention to detail, John is likely to succeed at most endeavors. It is a pleasure to recommend him on LinkedIn.

For over 60 years, OM has been building vibrant communities of Jesus followers, while sowing the word broadly, mobilizing same culture workers, and engaging local communities in kingdom flourishing. Today, OM has over 6,500 workers in 118 countries, operating as a $100M annual movement in a decentralized, federated structure. I am privileged to serve as SVP & CDO, leading a nationally dispersed team of fundraising professionals who raise $15M annually in private philanthropy. Furthermore, I am pleased to be working with colleagues worldwide, helping them improve domestic fundraising results for local priorities. In 2020 we saw a 24% increase in giving for flagship ministries. Show less

The United Methodist Children's Home has a rich, 146 year legacy of serving at-risk children in North Georgia. We focus on foster care, homeless families, and young adults who've aged out of foster care. Today we have 240 people in care daily and our five-year strategy is to serve 500 kids a day in foster care by 2020. I am privileged to lead a driven team focused on marketing and communications, family recruitment, volunteer engagement, church relations, and philanthropy. In the last two years we have collectively grown foster placements by 80% and launched in two new markets. In 2017 our team produced over 5M earned media impressions promoting news of our Decatur campus sale. Our fundraising team produced some remarkable results including 8% YOY revenue growth from churches, 40% of direct response revenue from online sources, and dozens of major gift and foundations relationships producing $25,000 or more a year. And, we executed a first-ever direct response donor acquisition campaign, meeting or beating industry standards. Facilitating 300 stakeholder visits was a great joy for me over the last 2.5 years, enabling me to listen, share, and activate more people in the mission. For six months I served as Acting CEO while leading the Development function. This, plus another 12 months to help socialize and promote the campus sale became my chief priorities. Show less

BGCA is the nation's leading youth development provider, reaching 4 million at-risk kids annually through 4,000 local clubs, and turning out tomorrow's artists, atheletes and CEOs. Our strategy and operations team pioneered several new strategic initiatives including the launch of a nationwide direct marketing program, and activation of 16 million club alumni; both with complex revenue sharing agreements with local clubs. We led planning and execution for the $450M nationwide "Great Futures Campaign," operationalized real-time portfolio analytics, and delivered national consulting services to clubs producing $50M annually for local impact. The 100 fundraising professionals at BGCA grew revenue from $55M to $130M in three years, and I was privileged to serve on the team. The culture at BGCA is remarkable, with some of the smartest, hardest working and passionate people in the workforce. Show less
