Estimator of condominium buildings for both internal and external Clients.Working in collaboration with the Project Management team, I engage the various sub-trades through the tender process to obtain their quotations for the project, conducting the analysis of such at the procurement stage, to establish a Contract value for the varying trades for new-build residential projects. In liasing with the Client, the various stages of the estimate are communicated dependant upon the various levels of design detail, until the project reaches its tender stage, when at that point I engage the sub-trade database to form the construction estimate which establishes a 85%+ level of cost certainty. Project value : $250k - $30m

Project's Value - £2.6m-£13mTo maintain and control the financial cost and value of refurbishment construction projects. At the pre-contract stage my role involves the collating, comparison and evaluation of multiple tenders/quotations to achieve best value correctly aligning tendering, design and construction requirements, by identifying package strategy (BoQ, spec & dwgs, etc.) with clearly defined buying targets linked to overall profit plan. On a daily basis my role extends to the management of subcontract accounts with varying values from £5,000 - £4m. There are two varying roles; One as the sole surveyor, and more recently on as part of a commercial team of surveyors. Through my role I have built on key skill sets through regular procurement of subcontracts, negotiation of costs and services, the maintenance and control of project accounts, and evaluation of final accounts to the Client. Negotiation forms part of my works, when engaging the sub-contractor through the procurement process, helping to ensure the best cost and best buying margins. Being methodical and organised are attributes in which I take pride in, ensuring a clear understanding of the project through monthly cost reconciliations and cost reports, both internally, and externally. My friendly but professional approach allows me to forge strong working relationships with all. I am able to work effectively alone within an office environment, or as part of a larger team.
