Using traditional vintage-style wooden boards, the staff at AT&T Park's Out-of-Town Scoreboard hand-operates up to the minute scores from all the baseball games that are played around the major league. They provide daily scores to the fans attending the ballpark during every Giants' home game. There are several hundred individual boards that the staff routinely maintains throughout the season. The staff has also been available for fundraising groups that have been given the opportunity to be an honorary scoreboard operator and to spend a day in the Out-of-Town Scoreboard. Show less

Started out my Contra Costa County career at the Materials & Testing Lab. Ran numerous tests at the lab and out in the field. Worked there from July 2002 - March 2005. Rotated to the Traffic Division and was promoted to Journey Level in January of 2007. I did Traffic & Turning Movement Counts, Speed Surveys, reviewed & logged in Collision Reports, and created numerous computer files. Worked in the Traffic Division from March 2005 - Sept. 2009. Rotated to Surveys and later reassigned to the M&T Lab due to the county's need of backfilling a lost position in that Division in April of 2010. I've been certified in numerous CTM test methods, became an expert in the Maintenance's Road Rating project and reading current Construction plans. Show less
