  In the short period of time, I have worked at FiberMark, I have trained and worked as an assistant on the Inspection Winder as well as trained as a lab technician. My responsibilities on the Winder included assisting the operator in changing rolls of paper, looking for abnormalities in the paper, splicing out damaged sections, ensuring paper is cut to the proper width, and wrapping the paper for shipment internationally. While in the lab, my responsibilities included testing the paper for proper color, strength, porosity, durability, tensile, tear, weight and caliper. I was trained on over twelve testing apparatuses and machines. My current position in the facility is Second Station Helper in the coater (latex) section. My responsibilities are to prepare, measure and mix the chemicals that make up the latex coatings on various calipers of paper. Show less
