Vloc Systems Ltd - The 1st Telematic Young Driver proposition

  Vloc Systems was originally founded by key industry experts, John Kowalyk from the Motor insurance sector (who co-conceptualised temporary daily rate insurance - CompuCar) who had the vision and a mission of a Young Driver telematic insurance scheme along with Co Founder Simon Andrews ex Thales Sales Director and Richard King co-founder of the Innovations Group who joined as COO. Richard was instrumental in the initial funding (Horizon Innovation Fund) of Vloc with its main aim of becoming a major telematic provider to the insurance and automotive industries. One of the first young driver propositions in the UK was developed utilising partnerships in a unique business model. As part of the infinity partnerships programme, Mondial Assistance (now Allianz Global Assist) launched with VLOC Systems Limited an internet enabled telematics solution tailored towards motor manufacturers, fleet managers and insurance companies. A partnership was also formed with Orange (now EE) for the provision of data and sim services and to provide solutions for their business partner strategies. The company split late 2009 and John Kowalyk went on to form RDS one of the first Insurance based smartphone apps and Richard King to co-found Ingenie https://www.ingenie.com/ a leading and high profile Young Driver insurance scheme in the UK and Canada using my original Vloc Young Driver concept.
