John has been an invaluable advisor to Voxel8. He consistently offers well thought out and insightful feedback on key decisions. John has a wealth of knowledge in additive manufacturing that encompasses everything from engineering details to long term strategy to business fundamentals in the industry. John has been very approachable and responsive in his role as advisor. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to work with John and I strongly recommend him as an advisor for early stage technology companies.

John Kawola was consistently impressive while CEO of Harvest Automation. He has the full package of competencies to run a business - from setting goals to leading people to operations and financial management and overall strategic intelligence. He treats people fairly; delegates effectively; makes decisions pragmatically and realistically; while bringing optimism, diligence and energy to each day's work that makes him fun to be around. He was able to build a team that stuck together loyally through ups and downs as the company launched and investigated several market applications for its robots and he successfully grew revenues during his tenure. I enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors with John and would be pleased to work with him again on a future project.
