I had the pleasure of working under John’s leadership on our LNG project. John takes charge and pushes the boundaries of what can be accomplished and the time of such accomplishment. He leads by example, His attention to details is unmatched. He empowers people to succeed by inspiring them to be better. He is not only a leader but a builder, he builds teams that are dynamic and focus on success. John builds teams that are driven, focused, energetic, diverse, and are willing to get things done right as quickly as possible. He doesn’t see problems, he only see’s solutions and builds a team that have the same mindset. I wouldn’t say that John thinks outside the box, I would say that he throws away the box all together! He will succeed at whatever is put in front of him.

I reported directly to John Godbold during my tenure at Bear Head LNG, an international LNG project currently under development. John is by far one of the most dynamic, disciplined and forward-thinking executives I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. He is a great example of progressive leadership, setting a culture of gratitude for working smarter and making everyone on his team feel equally appreciated. John has a very clear vision of how to accomplish goals and is very skilled at empowering the right people for the task at hand. He held himself, and us all, to very high ethical standards and it showed in how well the work products were received by provincial and federal regulators alike, both nationally and internationally, to move the project along a fast track to success. If given the opportunity, I would highly value being a part of any team John leads again!

Development business focused on early stage development of salt dome natural gas storage. Currently, company is fairly passive and remains a income and distribution vehicle to previous successful developments. > Developed and marketed 2 major storage facilities accounting for over 40 BCF of salt dome storage currently in operation, one of which previously sold to a public MLP for over $700 million > Determined pricing structure for storage facilities based on market knowledge and reconnaissance, providing acceptable terms for salt owner and storage user and long-term multi-million dollar annuity cash flow > Led small team of technical advisors and a regulatory attorney to successfully defend, in front of FERC, a claim by a storage capacity user which would have had a long term material impact to annual lease payments

Associated natural gas flaring has become a growing environmental concern globally given the significant amount of CO2 emitted and the energy that is wasted. Oil producers often flare associated gas because its value is less than the gathering & processing cost. CarboEvolution, LLC (“Carbo”) is a development stage company which was formed to solve these issues utilizing small-scale, mobile, integrated gas processing/LNG plants. Carbo’s initial fleet of liquefaction and ancillary equipment will be located in the Delaware/Permian Basin to collect wellhead gas streams that are otherwise flared and wasted, thus recovering energy, reducing CO2 emissions, and creating tangible value.
