It is a genuine honor for me to write a letter of recommendation for John Bradfield. It was a pleasure for me to work with John at FC Organizational Products for 4 years. I was a project manager and he was our writer/photographer. I have a great deal of respect for John. While we worked together, John was always easy to work with, had a strong work ethic, and was devoted to his work. When our photographer left the company, John stepped right up and filled the void. I appreciated his talents as a writer and photographer. In addition to his talents, I also admired John for his ability to balance his busy work and home life. John’s ability to work under pressure and complete projects on and ahead of schedule is commendable. At times, John had to work under a lot of pressure, but he always maintained composure and kept focused on the important projects and associated deadlines. I have no hesitation in recommending John for any writing or photography position. He would be a tremendous asset to any organization. Sincerely, Debbie Carlson Project Manager Debbie.Carlson75@gmail.com Cell: 801 664-3753

When the photographer we had at Franklin Planner (a.k.a FC Organizational Products) left for some really cool opportunities, I offered to fill the gap until they found a replacement. Now I am the replacement. I appreciate this great company and their confidence in my abilities. And the cool thing is that they still let me write as much as I can with the time I have. My skills have improved dramatically in the time I've held this position, and I'm sure they will continue to do so as I continue to stretch myself. Show less

My goal is to make products move off the shelves. I do that with the words I write and photos I shoot. We have no sales team here, so my copy has to work. I write catalog copy, email marketing copy, blogs, SEO, banner ads, and a lot of other little things that help our company connect with our clients. It's a lot of fun to see a direct correlation between sales and the products I promote through descriptive copy and marketing. We often have items that are moving slowly until we showcase them in the catalog or through emails. After that they're on back order. That makes me smile. The company owns FranklinPlanner.com and a few international versions of the site. For a time, we also owned and managed other online properties—TheOrganizedParent.com, Geekorize.com, Tidy Nirvana, Organized Bargains.com, and PenLuxe.com. It was fun for our marketing team to act as an ad agency for these different companies. Recently, our business model has changed and we have now moved the products we had in these other sites back under our FranklinPlanner site. It's a joy to work for great people and to offer products that can change lives. Show less

I have a photo studio in my home and it's designed for travel. I don't do a lot of this because family time is important to me, but now and then I will do work on that side. I have written copy and shot photography for an ad agency and several of their clients, shot photos advertising a local Orthodontist, and even for a Colorectal Surgeon (probably not what you think). I also shoot product photography whenever I get a chance. I've written extensive web copy for an addiction and relationship therapist, and have done proofing for individuals and small businesses. Because my time is at a premium, my freelance work is by appointment only. Show less

RxAmerica was purchased by CVS Caremark, shortly after I was hired. My main job was to keep my team and our projects running smoothly until the transition was complete. I worked as a Technical Writer at Deseret Chemical Depot in Tooele County, Utah. I wrote several closure and clean up documents that were submitted to the state and I updated nearly 200 Standing Operating Prodecures for the work performed there. Since the depot was going through closure, and the budget was altered each year, I was laid off and brought back a couple of times along the way. I picked up a few small jobs in the off time that were very helpful. If you would like to know what those positions were, I'll be happy to share. Show less
