Took a job as a temporary per diem medical assistant float so I could gain more knowledge in the medical field, as I am in a medical unit in the military and interested in Physician Assistant School. I performed and learned the duties of a medical assistant to include preparing rooms for patients, taking vitals, ordering labs, giving injections, giving EKGs and other clinical tests in different offices to include Pulmonary, Geriatrics, Endocrinology, GI and Primary Care.
