Nov 2017 - Feb 2021
Started as a general ledger accountant in November 2017, and in the two years I've been there have been the primary trainer for four other employees in that time. My duties and those trained have included AR for multiple tribal entities (Daycare, Housing, Utility, Loan/Assistance programs), per capita distributions for over 3,000 tribal members, bank reconciliations, payroll, cash management and general excel efficiency training. Promoted to the grant accountant role in May 2019 where I took over grant monitoring, reporting and drawdowns for over 20 grant funds spanning multiple years. Show less

Staff Tax Preparer
-
Feb 2013 - May 2013
At this position, I used Intuit's Lacerte tax program to prepare individual tax returns and keep a work-in-process spread sheet that was due each Friday to track progress on the returns. It was turned into the partners so they could know how much progress each employee had made throughout the week. This CPA Firm has hired me on a temporary basis on three occasions to assist during their busy season - once as an intern and twice as a staff preparer.
