      Job Description: Pierse Contracting is one of the largest construction companies in Ireland. I started with Pierse as a carpenter/joiner and I have now progressed to the position of a site manager. My responsibilities include: Liaising with the client, architects, design team consultants and all associated trades to deliver the contract on time and within budget. Overseeing the project from procurement to client handover. Project Supervision/Management. Conducting random quality checks as part of the company quality programme. Liaising between a number of building sites dealing with ongoing design issues, sub-contractor issues, and general problem solving. Liaising with the relevant utility companies to make sure al applications are made and delivered on time for water, water discharge, gas, telecommunications and power etc. Compiling RFI schedules and updating RFI schedules throughout each project. Compiling all relevant literature for any additional work, variations etc., in the event of any claims etc. Attendance and input in all Project Design Team meetings Implementing the companies WIS (Work Inspection Sheets) policy involving Sign Off for 1st fix, 2nd fix, final fix and testing and commissioning as part of the overall companies ISO standard. Constant on site monitoring of the companies health and safety plan. Show less
