  I serve on the Board of The Western New York Peace Center a 45 year old social justice organization dedicated to waging peace not war. I organize rallies, protests and educational events related to peace and social justice in Western New York. As a board member I have worked to Ground Drones internationally and local. present local economic intiatives and held education events on everything from free trade to debt. Last year I started the Community Economic Empowerment Task Force to promote alternatives for a more democratic economy. Show less

  As Event Coordinator I ran I weekly webinar series on Firedoglake.com as part of the Occupy Supply Project. The goal was to educate people in the movement about strategy topics and issues bringing activists and experts together to discuss how to affect change locally. Among the topics where Finance and Fundraising, Outreach and Online Organizing. I was tasked with developing ideas for topics recruiting experts and activists and getting people to participate. I also wrote articles about activist work I was doing and did live blogging of major protests like the NATO/G8 Summit in Chicago 2012. Show less
