John is one of the most skilled and passionated Houdini artist I had a blast working with. His past experiences in the VFX industry were definitly a great fundation for his Technical Artist role in videogames. He not only brillantly succeded in taking over one of the most challenging tech art feature of the game, but he did so with an incredible mindset and invested a lot of energy to make our creatives' dreams come true. The results are already awesome and I can't wait to see what he will deliver in the final product. John is definitly a Tech Artist I'm looking forward to work with again, and if you have the chance to do so, do not hesitate one more sec, you won't regret it :)

John is the most passionate Houdini specialist I know - there is no doubt about it. He is always looking for ways to help people get their work done, finding opportunities to accelerate production workflows at all stages of the pipeline. He goes where is needed to provide end-to-end implementations, for example scripting in python or writing Unity C# code when circumstances call for it. At Behaviour, he created innovative tools in the fields of level design, level generation, procedural modelling, visual effects, automation, and much more. He championed Houdini within the company and multiplied the speed of its adoption by mentoring newcomers, giving internal presentations about the software's capabilities, and making a tremendous number of contacts across teams. He is self-starting and extremely hard-working; his initiative even led him to host a very well-received meetup of the Montreal Houdini Users Group. If your group has anything to do with Houdini, or you simply suspect Houdini might help you get your work done better and faster, John is the guy you need to help realize your vision!
