  As the Live Acts chair of UNA I planned UNA's Spring Concert, the biggest event on campus, as well as the Singing River Music Festival. The Singing River Music Festival is a new event started only last year that attempts to bring the innovative idea of music festivals to UNA. During the planning of this event, my committee and me organized a set of 7 different artists and obtained appropriate production and support.I also planned UNA's annual Spring Concert which is the university's biggest event on campus. Every year, the live acts Chair and committee bring a major artist to campus towards the end of the school year. In years past, we have gotten Ludacris, T.I., and Panic! At the Disco. This year we brought several artists including Rob $tone, Niykee Heaton, and Jon Bellion. We sold over 1,000 tickets which we used excel spreadsheet to keep up with. I also organized over 30 volunteers to help the event run smoothly the day of. Communicating with artist management, mid-agents, and my immediate advisors has proven a valuable experience for me as I seek a career in event planning. Show less
