I was was the Operations & Transport Supervisor for numerous concrete producing sites within the region (23 at its peak) where I was responsible for the the quality, safety and environmental standards of each site along with managing the day to day resources, repairs and maintenance - all of which were inherently linked! A very busy role within a large, procedure based organisation, who measured and reported on most aspects on its business. Anything not falling into the traditional sales, marketing or technical roles came to operations!
