USCG Tahoma- Main propulsion division, responsible for direct supervision and development of 6 crewmembers. Directed and participated in routine maintenance of main propulsion ALCOVE engines and 4 diesel electric generators. USCG Air station Cape Cod Facilities engineering- Responsible for one of two USCG bases with housing onboard. Duties included but were not limited to: Daily repairs in occupied units in any aspect from floor to ceiling. Performing turnarounds after service members vacated units. Entire remodeling and updating of units. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, water heaters, HVAC units, plumbing to include main line clogs. Contract negotiations between veteran's affairs and Facilities Engineering in Rhode Island. Represented and inspected work for Facilities Engineering. On call technician. Supervised a team of 10 service members. Maritime Safety and Security Team 91102- served as small boat engineer, crewmember and Boarding Officer. Later placed in position of MATT team supervisor. Responsible for a fleet of 12 DHS small boats, 30 vehicles, a 4 bay garage, carpentry and welding shop and personnel. Weekly reports to MKCM J. Dobbins on status of fleet and personnel evaluations. Traveled to various locations to provide secure environments for a multitude of events. USCG Station Charleston-Acting EPO, duties included running everyday operations of Engineering department for Station Charleston. Teaching and performing maintenance on 6 DHS small boats and one 47' MLB. Supervising and scheduling of 2 teams of 8 engineers.
