Head Office Responsibilities:-• Promote HSEC as a core value. Ensure client /company Critical Risk Control Protocols are identified and promoted in company / contractor plans and procedures • Responsible for Mechanical Completion Procedures and Execution Plans associated with Handover to Commissioning • Responsible for the compiling and monitoring of Handover Packages including Discipline Inspection Test Records (ITR’s) to achieve Construction Completion.• Responsible for producing Deficiency Management Procedures.• Select the Completions Management System (CMS) with consideration to System / Sub System close out and Deficiency Close out. • Ensure Planning Schedule is aligned with Completions and Commissioning requirements.• Review Contractors bid documents. On site Responsibilities:-• Attend contractor daily tool box talks. Review Lift Plans and Method Statements. Area Authority for Permit Control System. Attend daily Management Safety Walks. Promote Safety Observation Reports (SOR’s) as a site initiative.• Oversee contractors daily progress linked to overall schedule.• Witness pipework and tank pressure testing.• Organize discipline walk-down inspections and validate pre-commissioning activities prior to handover.• Oversee Deficiency List close out.• On an ongoing basis review Contractors Handover Packs to ensure timely completion of certification in line with Handover Schedule.

Electrical and instrumentation systems were completed to offshore commissioning stage with completion of all associated test records. Contractor Supervision is French/Portuguese, workforce is Angolan. Responsibilities include :-• On a daily basis attend management meetings and tool box talks promoting safe work practices. Show safety leadership qualities at all times.• Through Project Schedule operate 9 week look-ahead to ensure PAU’s, pipework and support fabrication are in line with sailing schedules• Meet on a twice weekly basis with contractors and design house to chase down priority shortages.• Ensure Company fabrication prep, weld and coating application procedures are adhered to.• Oversee pipework fabrication hydro-testing, flushing and drying.• Oversee critical valve testing prior to shipping offshore. • Participate in PAU weighing and lifting activities.
