John is an outstanding person and worker. He is consciencious, customer focused, and has an owner mentality. John worked all of our docks managing over 300 members and 30 boats/yachts. Part of John's responsibilities were to develop excellent customer relations while managing cost and quality. John worked to earn his captains license and was a number one choice by our members. John was always the first to take the initiative to secure the necessary parts and tools to correct any repairs on the vessels. In addition to this, John was very proactive in his care for the vessels. Many times John would identify potential problems and fix them before they had a chance to be recognized by a member of the club. Bottom line, John operated with an "owners" mentality. John never acted as an employee, but rather as one who ran the company. A key thing about John is responsibily. When John was on a dock I had NO worries. Not only could he handle arrivals and departures with excellence, he also managed the maintenance and cleaning while dealing with customer incidences and/or complaints. John was/is always calm in crisis situations and is alway curtious & respectful when dealing with anyone. I would hire John in a heartbeat and would highly reccomend him.
