  Registrar Duties: • Manages all details regarding incoming and outgoing loans including contractual arrangements, loan agreements, condition reports, photo and archival documentation and related cataloguing information • Schedules and oversees all shipping arrangements, including coordination of packing, unpacking and crating of artifacts • Ensures safe handling and security of the collection by overseeing and managing the movement, storage and disposition of artifacts • In collaboration with the Chief Curator, develops and presents gift lists to the biannual collection committee meeting Exhibit Duties: •Served as a member of the exhibit design team for Holocaust Museum Houston's new permanent exhibit•Personally oversaw design meetings and served as the primary liaison between Holocaust Museum Houston and the contracted designer •Responsible for image licensing and copyright negotiations •Collaborates closely with the Chief Curator to coordinate the temporary exhibition program •Participates in the planning, development, installation, and de-installation of all temporary exhibitions •Initiated and developed virtual exhibitions of the permanent exhibit galleries during ongoing COVID-19 pandemic •Provides on-call exhibit support/maintenance as needed to address any issues that may arise Collection Management Duties: •Oversees the care, management, receipt, accessioning, cataloguing, labeling and documentation of objects acquired for the museum's collections •Maintains the collection database and documentation for collection artifacts •Responsible for the general care of the permanent collection, including routine inventories, pest management and general preservation duties •Monitors environmental conditions and collaborates with the facility manager to make necessary adjustments for the proper preservation of artifacts
