Collaboration focused on understanding current and future dynamics of coastal rivers and deltaic systems. Projects include estimation of future sediment and water availability in coastal regions under future climate change scenarios, floodplain water routing on the Rio Grande Delta, and integration of high-resolution topographic data in numerical modeling Collaboration focused on understanding current and future dynamics of coastal rivers and deltaic systems. PhD researcher focused on understanding coastal sedimentary systems of the Gulf of Mexico. Worked to develop models of sand resource availability on the inner continental shelf for use in coastal resiliency and adaptation projects across the Gulf. Provided new understanding of floodplain topography across the lower Gulf coastal plain using high-resolution lidar datasets. Delivered the first assessment of anthropogenic change in channel evolution of the lower Rio Grande river resulting from 20th century dam construction.
