John is an outstanding leader, a caring manager who goes above and beyond successfully motivating his team toward organizational and each member’s personal professional goals. John epitomizes the strong leader who values his team members, builds each individual up, and leads. He challenges his team and provides every way for the team member to shine. He creates within his team a unique dynamic relationship that most organizations and leaders can only dream of and that has resulted in his team meeting goals and, most importantly, being satisfied in their jobs…in large part because of those leadership and management skills. It was a pleasure to work with John as my supervisor for 6 years!

I am so grateful for having had the opportunity to work for John at De Smet Jesuit High School. He was always a great leader and mentor. His ability to take a group of individuals and create a team was what allowed our Institutional Advancement Department to continue to set school fundraising records. He was innovative and creative in trying to find new ways to increase fundraising and build relationships with our constituents. His dedication and commitment to the organization and the cause was a great example for those with whom he worked. He was a very effective role model in that he motivated everyone to want to improve while being respectful and open to their thoughts and ideas. He always handled himself with professionalism and dignity.
