I have worked alongside John closely for four years. In those four years, I've seen him not only excel at the core elements of his job -- like safely navigating 50 ton speed boats on Lake Michigan and effectively managing a team of 40+ marine crew members to provide unforgettable memories for 200K+ customers annually-- but also in other tasks that extend well beyond the scope of his role like being a positive influence in the lives of many young crew members. John has worked every position at Seadog, from starting as a tour guide to working his way up the ranks to become a captain. His ability to pick up concepts quickly and teach others in an enthusiastic manner is something to be desired in any role. This rare mix of productivity and ambition sets a great example for the rest of the team, and explains why everyone loves working with John -- no matter where they fall on the org chart. John continuously provided levity even on the most dismal days and his leadership style is something I certainly miss working with daily. I have nothing but optimism for John and his future career and am certain he will be a valuable asset wherever he decides to go.
