William L. Elliott, Ph.D.

I am privileged to have John Sharkey as a colleague and friend. He is a consummate health professional and a visionary entrepreneur. A cursory look at his business endeavors and scholarly achievements reveal his exceptional caliber. I have had the honor of teaching classes at his fine school; the National Training Centre, in Dublin, Ireland. This renowned learning institution embodies John’s extraordinary level of excellence. In addition to his skills as a health professional and businessman, he is a first-class author. John is an outstanding exercise physiologist and neuromuscular therapist. I give him my highest recommendation.

I had the pleasure of being invited to become a member of the Olympic Council's Medical Team by Dr. Joe Cumiskey, currently President of the European Federation of Sports Medicine Associations and member of the International Olympic Committee, back in 1999, so it is a great honour and privilege to be part of the Olympic Team. It is a big responsibility but one I relish.
