John is an excellent leader. A servant leader who like Gandhi would not ask a team member to do anything he has not done, and would not ask any of us to do anything unethical. These are rare and valuable assets. He leads, and as a good leader should, he makes sure his team is doing things that are appropriate for them and for the department. He keeps track of progress to make sure that everyone is on task and on time without being intrusive. His casual friendly style means one is guided and encouraged. John is an asset to any organization he joins.
