I worked with John for almost 16 months and – as both a ‘handler’ and editor – our work together has proven to be a career highlight. I’ve worked as a science-based content writer for 5 years and, during this time, very few working relationships have been as pleasant and efficient as working with John. Our work together was always well-communicated, and his feedback was both actionable and thematic: it offered direct recommendations, as well as guiding the overall message of a piece of work. Editorial is one of the less engaging parts of the writing process but this efficiency and blend of micro/macro editing really streamlined the process. We produced dozens of articles together and John was consistent, timely, and chats about editing always felt like a positive experience. In both the managerial and editorial aspects of our work together, John struck an excellent example. Whether in editorial review, content planning, or just discussing the finer details of the subject matter, I’m grateful for the impact he has had on my own work. In light of this, I am more than happy to recommend him and his skillset for any position that touches on our experience together.

It was a pleasure to work with John. He always provided detailed guidelines for all writing assignments, and he was quick to follow up with feedback. I would highly recommend him.

Responsibilities include:* Planning, researching, writing, editing, and developing internal eLearning courses.* Conducting interviews with executives and writing corporate press releases.* Fulfilling other marketing tasks, such as researching and applying for awards.* Conducting quality assurance checks and providing graded feedback to SEO specialists.Key Accomplishments: I was the primary content creator for the company’s internal eLearning courses. One of the marketing department’s most important projects was the creation of a series of seven courses to explain the company’s ethos and methodology to over 400 employees. This information was found in a document that exceeded 100 pages in length, so it needed to be converted to a more digestible form. I condensed this information while preserving the essential aspects to create these courses. I also wrote all corporate press releases during this time. Show less
