1stAvailable.com.au provides a convenient, easy to use, online healthcare search and appointment booking service. My role/s with 1stAvailable is to provide a senior resource when they need something "fixed" or delivered outside of the company's current capability. In line with that I perform a number of different roles, and activities, including: - Being a Commercial Consultant that worked on numerous bids in in the medical industry that spanned both enterprise and the Queensland GITC response formats. My responsibilities were to manage the bid, ensure content was pertinent and accurate, review and advise on scope and commercial pricing. - Program/Project Manager: Involved with number that are based on software development. My responsibilities were to manage the project on a day to day basis, ensure any scope creep was managed and the budget adjusted accordingly and to manage customer satisfaction in regards to delivery timelines. - Contract Negotiation: I was originally brought into the company (see 1stAvailable 2009 below) to fix an ongoing negotiation with a software vendor that 1stAvailable employed to write their initial application. This entailed getting both parties to renegotiate the contract, while ensuring those changes were accurately reflected in the new contract. The outcome of this was that it ensured the software development project got back on track and both companies avoided litigation.
