Occasionally, I am tasked with returning to the Service department… Show more As a project engineer, I am responsible for assisting project managers in all aspects of their duties including reviewing purchase orders, contracts, and technical requirements, developing and refining customized overall system designs and creating integration requirements, checking and refining bills of materials for acquisition, monitoring production and testing, overseeing inspections, and finalizing handover to the client. Occasionally, I am tasked with returning to the Service department to assist during times of heavy load and travel overseas as sometimes required to perform these duties or to meet with clients to organize refit jobs. Our projects cover the breadth of the private yachting industry and stretch into the defense sector as we fulfill multiple contracts with US military service branches (US Navy and US Coast Guard) as well as military branches from many other nations. I am therefore ITAR trained and maintain this training yearly. In addition to these duties, I am also responsible for updating, writing, and assembling technical manual documents and work instructions, refining internal processes, reviewing project costs at multiple stages, supporting the sales team, and helping define new possibilities for future design or sales.

Service Technician

As a service technician, my duties include maintaining Quantum systems aboard private yachts. This includes diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems that power and control Quantum systems as well as maintaining and fully rebuilding actuator units. I am required to travel oversees as the job requires as Quantum systems are used worldwide. During periods of low activity, I assist the production department in assembling new hydraulic units and electrical control boxes.
