The SERVE Center used these volunteers to perform various services to the members in the Kirksville community, such as raking leaves, painting, trimming bushes, etc. As the coordinator, it was my job to market the event, assign groups of students to each job site, and ensure smooth operations on the day of the event. Sponsored by the SERVE Center, 1300+ students at the university participated in a day of service.
