Recruited to build a PMO (Project Management Office) within the Department of Finance’s IT organization. Entrusted to develop policies and procedures as well as changing the current culture into one where efficiency and proficiency are the norm. Work with the CIO and DoF Executive Management to turn around the current perception of IT and help to align the organization with the CIO’s vision. Published the PMO Charter, which outlined the guiding principles under which the PMO would operate, where one such principal is that the PMO is the Center of Excellence.
