Head Coach of the Koa's Bethesda Area Baseball League (BABL) Double-A Thunder (12-u). League Champions Fall 2017 and Spring 2019. Responsibilities include all baseball managerial decisions, from designing and running practices, to setting lineups and making substitutions, as well as skill instruction and developing a mental acuity for the game. Also responsible for maintaining weekly team statistics and providing reports to the Koa Sports baseball blog, Around the Horn.   Collaborator on a team of nine research staffers under two managers for this internship run in conjunction with the JHU Advertising & Integrated Marketing Communications course. Certified by the on-line JHU School of Public Health IRB Certification course to conduct market research, including, but not limited to, writing and distributing surveys and conducting interviews. Surveyed twice as many students as requested by the client, both in pre- and post-campaign surveys. The campaign that resulted from the research returned a 71.8% increase in awareness of the client’s product among our targeted demographics. Show less
