John and I worked together when I was an Assessment Support Manager at Cambridge English. John was an Assessment Manager and responsible for much of my training when I first started. He was always calm, very knowledgeable and organised, and achieved the perfect balance between training me up in a detailed and logical way and trusting in my abilities and letting me fly. I learnt a huge amount about the process of publishing exam-preparation material with John and together we successfully collaborated with Cambridge Exams Publishing (CEP) to ensure the prompt and successful launch of the CB IELTS online exam-practice platform Testbank. I really enjoyed working with John and he would be a great manager on any team.
